Amazon Bed extender - something to take note of

So I purchase a bed extender from Amazon and after installing it I noticed that I couldn’t fold inside the bed because it was hit against the two end on each on my OEM roll up bed cover. But I found a fix. I losen the bottom screws on each end of the roll up bed cover which allows the to tilt downwards and allow the bed extender to fold inside the bed.
I think this was the reason why the OEM bed extended from Ford is bent inwards.

Now you have to do a little bit of cutting to get the correct length. The middle pipes are very long by design so they are adjustable to fit almost any size truck bed. You have to cut them with a hacksaw or cutting disk. It took me about 30 mins to mount the extender. Mounting the brackets on the truck take more time because you have to remove the lights. You’re going to need a long nose pliers to hold the nuts in place while screwing the bolts.

Oh wow. I stand corrected. Anyways, the easy fix is what I did. You can do it too. Just remove the bottom screw and shift the end downwards and you should be fine.
