First time buying a Ford and first time ordering a vehicle from any manufacturer. I signed my paperwork with the X-plan $, so I think I just need to get my pin # and go in. I figure I'll let the dealership try to beat the rate with the same terms and loan amount but I'm preapproved from a local CU with an APR I think is reasonable. Should I ask them about the Farm Bureau $500 credit or is it safe to just assume everyone accepts it unconditionally? I haven't signed up for FB yet... was going to wait before I found out they'd accept it. Not concerned about my trade-in because I suspect they'll try to give me squat, so I'll just sell it on my own.

Anything else I'm missing? I haven't seen many, if any, posts about dealers negotiating with folks since these are in such high demand. I'll admit, I'm not super happy that it's taken this long to get here, seeing as it was scheduled in December and sat there for three months.

Ask about the $750 certificate. You can add to X-plan and it gets you close to A. Don’t think farm bureau can be combined with X. Ask salesperson to check Smart Vincent system

Sign up for Farm Bureau. Then after applying for membership you will be approved at next board meeting which depends when they meet, few days or few weeks. Then after 30 days being a member, I think, you can get the certificate to take to Ford showing you are member in good standing. Have fun.

I haven't seen anything about a $750 credit. Do you have more info about that? All I saw was a $1000 cert that people said didn't apply to Mavs...

Thanks for the Bureau pointer. I noticed this on their site: "This offer may not be used in conjunction with most other Ford Motor Company private incentives or AXZD-Plans. "

So if the truck is at the dealership, I'm probably too late? lol

I think the $750 rebate is if you are a current, purchased from Ford, owner.

Never hurts to ask about it though.

Not sure what the criteria is for getting it but ask your salesperson to check their smart Vincent system. It’s either in there for you or it isn’t.
