It was peacetime when Reagan was President so I was never deployed and it was all training

Yes, we have a very similar history and thank you for your comments. I'm also 100% disabled from an army injury when I was a medic. As a medic I usually drove a 113 but I hopped in a tank for some NBC training and I bounced around like a BB in a boxcar
