Have to turn heater to make heater blow hot air turn it to 80 and it blows cold air. No fix character for the vehicle and new Maverick. Turn heat to hi and turn dual side to low cool Cool blows can’t feel any heat on other side

Hard to decipher your post. It looks like you have a 2023 Lariat? New to you but a used vehicle?

Modifications? Did the previous owner modify the DTAC controls and install controls with temp reading in the center of each dial?

Sounds confusing, maybe it’s new and covered by warranty…
other than that, if the problem is dual zone related, then there probably a blend door not working right.

I got the impression that the OP was trying to run the dual zone set to 60 on one side, 80 on the other, and was disappointed because he wasn't getting cold and hot air out of the appropriate outlets.

When I ordered my Mav I had thought dual zone meant front to rear. Then I found out it is driver passenger. I have used it a couple times but not a big deal if I never had it.
