Anyone get an email from 7th Sense Research? They appear to be a legit research company and offered me a $10 Amazon gift card. They want to know about my experience with my new vehicle. I didn't open the link to the web page for the survey because I don't have my new vehicle yet. I am still waiting on it. Am I the first to get one of these requests?
Now, before anyone gets off on trying to tell me this is spam and don't do this or that, don't waste your time on me. I have been around the internet since 1982 and also have some insight from my 26 years of government work about all those shysters out there.

Got email today also. 7th sense has a website. I'm not interested in participating.

Later in early spring was given the role to set up the 13th ‘worldwide web server’ for Chemistry dept at major Research Institute. Later drifted to a number in low 20s as Tim was too embarrassed to share code with the guy who found so many issues at the SATX conference a few months earlier.

Yea, it was AOL in the DC area with a cassette recorder and some type of modem that replaced the phone. I can't remember much more. I had just started a new job with the government in the building to the left of this text. That's why the date sticks in my mind.

Not that old at the birth of the WWW. Only 18 months out of college. I was a science nerd not fully IT. But setup hardware and wrote programs to earn money during college. I chose the WWW project just because the guy was a Physicist. Turns out I was the only person reviewing the project that had any experience with HyperText so became leader.
Figured we would do him a solid and ‘fix’ the shortcomings. Came up with the index.html to provide an entry point to anyone fresh to the server. Made a point on automation for a backlinking got the client side back button and the referral linking storage. But the only site that uses it close to original idea is Wikipedia.
We worked on ideas for hours and was late to Tim’s presentation. At the end there was a place for audience reactions. I read off the list and suggestions for improvements. Caught him flat footed but he was quick on his feet and was thoughtful. Had already thought of many of our suggestions and was looking to adding them in at a later date.

I received the same email a few days ago. I didn't open it. LOL, who got a new vehicle? All I have is a VIN.
