Wait….”Originally equipped on the high-performance Maverick LOBO, this kit outperforms stock replacements”….. Lobo has this already?
yeah i would say it appears u can install the lobo sway bar on your awd non lobo maverick; also seems to come maybe with some version of performance end links - not bad for $90

After I look under my maverick to see if this could be switch out in any reasonable amount of time. I think I know what I'm getting for Christmas... Upgrading the rear sway bar on my 2013 Fusion hybrid made a night and day difference. The understeer on the Maverick is probably the only thing I don't care for on this otherwise great vehicle. The fact that it's a Ford part makes it that much better.

Online, it says for rear sway bar replacement, you must remove the exhaust and drop the rear differential. If that's the case, I'll just have to live with the understeer.

They're simply replacement links. It's the same part number as original.

Ford Maverick Ford Performance Sway Bar (from Lobo) can be installed & fits other trims (part # M-5490-MS) 1760915774399-e9

So based on part number, does the Lobo have this upgraded sway bar or the same bar used on the other AWD models?

Ford's install instructions disagree. You should be able to simply unbolt and remove the bar.

The differential isn't even on this side of the subframe. But the exhaust is conveniently missing from this image.

Well, this is encouraging. At least worth investigating further. I don't mind dropping the driveshaft and lowering the exhaust (not shown in this picture), I just don't want to drop the diff. Thanks for your post.

You can do it by just dropping the exhaust; just takes a bit of wiggling to get it out
