6 months & counting: wrote an old school letter

Six month Mark hit & I had heard nothing from the dealer or Ford. I wrote Ford customer service a letter & cc'd the local dealer. Bam! Once the dealer received the letter, the phone was ringing, the texts were chirping & emails arrived. The GM promptly threw the sales rep under the bus & apologized profusely. No one knows why nothing was ever came from Ford. Today I received my VIN, build date & window sticker. The dealer is telling me it could arrive between end of April to mid-May.

Not sure how it would arrive end of April considering most that have been built in the last couple of weeks are end of April deliveries. It depends on your build date. From that date add 4-6 weeks depending on if it has SIBL or what shipping scenario looks like at the time and how far from the Mexican border you're located.

If you got a build date and VIN today, that would put you in line for Production on 5/16 week. add about 2wks to build and shipped and another 4wks in transport.

I wrote a letter too, asking some questions. Got an email back saying sorry but they couldn't answer my questions.

Sounds like to me that they already had a build date and didnt know it...

Your situation was wrong on the dealers part. Mine was ordered November 28th and is being delivered next week.

Six months get to the back of the line buddy a lot of us are going on 10 months with nothing.
