Would you get both done, just one or the other, or none of the above?

  • Sprayed on Wheel Well liner only

  • Sprayed on Rocker Panels and Fenders only

  • Both Sprayed on Wheel Wells and Fenders

  • None of the Above

Just looking for some general feedback about the option to have Line-X spray my wheel wells and rocker panels up 6-8" to the body line.

The Wheel well liners are made of heavy duty cloth for protection and sound deadening I would guess. I am thinking about removing them and having the inside of the wheel wells sprayed with bed liner. I anticpate taking it on gravel/rock/dirt roads that are in various levels of maintenance regularly. I will also be in the Northeast where snow is common and salt from roads and ocean may affect it. I may just put the liners back afterward or look for other aftermarket addons as well. I am planning to go with a larger tire either 245/65R17 or 245/70R15 and eventually add the 1.5" or 2" spacer lift/levdeing kit as well.

Also considering going up the rocker panels and fenders along that lower body line with Line-X Ultra or even the bedliner with UV if not available.

Any thoughts about how they will look? Perform? I get they aren't the most practical or necessary mods but I want to keep it for a long time and not have the paint all torn up around the edges from rocks and mud more than required.

I also plan to have a soft Truxedo X15 with TS Eleveate "T" Rails and some sort of bed rack eventually as well so you can picture the look at least. I think on the lighter Cactus Grey it will look good with the black two tone. On darker colors results could vary.

Would love to see pics when you're done. I've been thinking of doing the exact same thing.

I would probably rather just do some dynamat style stuff under the floor rather than a wheelwell liner but I could be convinced one way or the other.
