40mph vibration

Just started noticing:
Rpm is to low between 38-41mph.
Causing a lag and vibration in the dash.

Maybe share a video. You going to take it to the dealer?

If this is easily repeated, drive it into the dealer and have them take it for a drive to experience it. It could be something as simple as a wheel weight fell off. It could be something more concerning.

what transmission does the 2.0 have? I know on my escape 2.0 the tranny wanted to "lock" a little early around 40mph and would cause vibration and shudder before downshifing again for acceleration or power needs like a hill. Seems common with all ford trannys. They suck for sure. Should happen on a new one though.

2.0 have the 8-speed auto.

Hi,

Took mine to the dealer, they verified it on my Maverick and others on the lot. Dealer did nothing. Not gas, not cold weather at least on my vehicle. Ford is doing nothing about it, just hope mine fails before the warranty expires. Not happy with Ford on this one.
