I don’t understand, 3 Mavericks in 2 years???
1st one was purchased in 2021. Other two, I waited 18 and 20 months and couldn't pass on $3000 discounts.

I got mine in November 2021, because some old lady pulled out in front of me in totaled my 2017 escape titanium. I’m retired. I can’t do more than one at a time..

Why three Mavericks? I can also answer that one.
  • I ordered a 2022 XL Hybrid in July 2021 and purchased it in August 2022. I didn't like the Hybrid's CVT or the rear suspension on the FWD. Four weeks after buying it, I sold it to an MTC member with 980 miles.
  • I ordered a 2023 XLT EB AWD in August 2022 and purchased it in January 2023. I still own and enjoy this Maverick.
  • I loaned my Maverick to my son so he could move from southern to northern California. He had it for four months and fell in love with it. Thus, we ordered a 2024 XL Hybrid for him in July 2023.
Long McArthur Ford (@fordvideoguy) received a large shipment; some customers didn't take theirs. The perfect 2023 XLT Hybrid configuration became available, and its MSRP was close to the 2024 XL Hybrid's MSRP. Thus, my son and I flew to Kansas and drove back the week before Thanksgiving 2023.
Although we informed the dealer we no longer needed it, we kept the 2024 XL Hybrid order open.
  • My wife declared three months ago that I could sell her PHEV SEL Escape (when the HOV stickers no longer allow her to drive in the carpool lanes by herself) and get whatever I want because she is taking my Maverick. I declined to hand over the keys and suggested we take delivery of the 2024 XL Hybrid instead. It was scheduled for production in April and might arrive by May. Yet, we bought what we wanted from Long McArthur Ford (again). I drove it the 1500 miles home alone. And we turned away the 2024 XL Hybrid we ordered when it arrived (several weeks ago).
Consequently, we currently own three Mavericks. My daughter is driving the one meant for my wife (since she is still driving the PHEV SEL Escape through the end of this year). As much as my daughter would have loved to buy the one we turned away, she cannot afford it now. Otherwise, we might have had four Mavericks in the family.

I didn't realize how much I liked my Maverick until my wife declared it hers. I could have anything I wanted, but I chose to keep my Maverick. For me—someone who gets bored easily and goes through a lot of vehicles—this was a remarkable realization.

I've picked up my 3rd and final Maverick. 1st Maverick was xl hybrid, ordered in 2021 and received December 2021 ($23k OTD). 2nd and 3rd was xl eco and xl hybrid ordered fall of 2022. 2nd order came after 18 months ($25k OTD). 3rd came couple days ago 20 month. ($27k OTD). I really like my Mavericks but getting out of my price range. If I didn't have discounts, xl hybrid would be around $30k.
Ok.. im not jealous at all ...'cause ... well ...
I mean they aren't skates so I don't need one for each foot.

Man ... you got one for each foot foot and one glove ..... shamon then! Shamon!!
