Owned my Maverick for 33 months now, replaced a Honda CRV as the daily driver. The hybrid system is just awesome. Same basic drivetrain as a Toyota, but with a useful bed. I really thought Toyota would create a RAV4 variant to compete with the Maverick.

Only real complaint is the wireless charger, which has proven useless as phones just get hot and don't charge. I've dug into this issue and determined that it seems to be a physical design issue. guess I could swap if that would work.

Kept up with the recall items over the years.

Have never towed with the Maverick, but then I occasionally would tow a lightweight trailer with my CRV. That option is still in play with the Maverick.

One warranty issue was the invertor for AC power to the outlets in the cab and bed.

For my use case the FWD hybrid works fine. Majority of my daily driver and stuff is just myself or one passenger. If more passengers are needed or more capability, then there are other vehicles. Sometimes a passenger is in the back seat, but not often enough to have an impact. I consider the Maverick as an adult 2 seater.

Nice having a bed for messy or smelly cargo.

Added an Extang Sold Fold ALX cover on the bed. Works really well, able to set stuff on top also, not for traveling.

Today's urban round trip.
