Here's an example of why I think there should be no time limit or a longer time limit. My wife and I like going to the drive in with this setup. Unfortunately every 30 minutes I got to climb out of the bed and turn the truck back on.
I solved the drive-in movie idling problem with an FM Tranceiver plugged into a Soundcore speaker. They are both battery operated and are good for up to 15 hrs of use. No need to idle at the movies.

Right, but I think @Mav007 wants to find a way to permanently remove the max idle without needing to either uncheck the box every time they start the vehicle, or be in the vehicle when the warning pops up. Real world example of why this would be desired. Using the vehicle as a generator for backup power. If you want to run the engine for hours at a time at idle with an inverter hooked to it, no fun to need to go out every 30 minutes to restart the truck. Although the reserve capacity of the 12v battery should allow for a little bit of slop during the "off times".

@Mav007 , post this question in the ForScan sub forum on here. I would also love to find a way to disable this.
so real world example: I took this out on a fire department call and normally when parked on the side of the road we leave our vehicles running with the emergency strobe lights on. Well after 30 minutes truck turned off and truck completely blacked it self out in the road at night.. not good. Also in the winter when I’m out somewhere I would like to leave it running and trying to check the box when I park at an emergency is just not practical. I already posted in for scan with no luck

When my hybrid shows up sometime in the next 6'ish months, I'll see what I can find in ForScan. It has to be something that is editable.

Our drive-in uses a FM station that I've had trouble picking up with a stand alone radio, that's why I was using the truck radio. Plus the sound is much better coming from the B & O system. I tried the Acc mode but that shut off also. I forgot to mention I have a hybrid.
Mine has stayed on longer than that.

Are you locking the doors perhaps?
Are you turning off completely - and then back to Acc mode, or powering off down to Acc mode?
I assumed you are leaving Powered on, so the engine could run as needed, or the HV battery charging the little guy.
