Anyone put a boost/vacuum gauge on their 2L ECO to see what the boost is at certain RPMs? I have a nice mechanical one in my GT500 but don't really need or want something like that in my Maverick...plus there is no nice place to mount one like that in my dash to make it look like a factory gauge.

What I want to know if someone has a 2L Eco 4WD with the 4K towing and can provide the readings they see at about 1700-2K range for every 1K step.

I had a 2L Escape (close to the same engine but different gearing of course) and noticed my gas mileage was much higher if I stayed just a hair under 1.8K As soon as I went over that on a trip my mileage suffered and it was very evident extra gas from the boosted air was wasted at cruise speeds. Fortunately with the Escape that was right at 65.

With my Maverick I think my boost starts kicking in between the 1.7 and 1.8. I know at 70 I have some enough boost that my mileage is suffering but when cars and trucks are passing you at 75-80 you almost need to keep up with them until the radar detector goes off.
