I'd let the family drive in the maverick and go from there. It may grow on them. I test drove a 22 XL eco with tow hitch. Thought it was okay and left. 3 days later I said, I want it ad went back. Been a crap show since. lol

Yep, good call. Handed the keys to the wife and she is on Kid collection duty today. The problem is that she and the girls will drive it in the summer at out lake house while I drive our F350. We stay there all summer so we leave her Mach e GT at home. So, I can't just put tell her to deal. That's not the relationship we have and not the example I want to set for my girls. So, the best chance is to let her roll it and hope she digs it too. Good advice. Thx
Happy wife........LOL

Well, i was fully committed to just trading the Maverick in on a Bronco Sport as the wife and kids preferred that after seeing the Maverick without me. Went and picked up the Maverick today, thinking I'd drive it home and either trade it in, or sell it outright. It was just ten miles home, but this is a decent little rig for the price. I was actually shocked having not driven one.

Now I have to decide what to do. I'm just going to test the waters with some local stores to see what they'd give me on trade for a BS OBX, but may end up keeping it. Feels like a can't lose scenario.
I have one of each. I have the Badlands Bronco Sport and the wife has the Lariat Maverick.

While searching for a maverick I've been looking at Broncos to compare colors and the Bronco has actually been growing on me. It may be a backup if I never find a decently priced mav before my current car takes a crap.

I love my Maverick, but think my wife’s bronco sport drives a touch nicer. The back doors on the Maverick are easier to get in and out of though. The wheel well eats into the door on the BS

Well, now there you go! Have PrivateIdaho and his wife over for dinner. Win - win. They bring the steaks, you provide the test drives!
