My thinking is that basically no one will get their Mavericks until January anyways, because of the 6 week hold, so a few months ain't gunna matter which also means less time in the coldest parts of winter.

Bonus is that it will hopefully be easier to sell my VW GTI, the closer it gets to spring.

I have been reading this forum some time now and don't see where there is a six week hold. Is this something Ford said, printed out, let everyone know?

I am highly thinking it is the truck ordered, accessories, add-on's and such. Not so much when ordered. My order was 8/1, received by Ford 8/3 and production date is 12/16. Many others here have ordered in late August and are sheduled late November. Go figure.

My order was 8/20. Scheduled for 12/9. Received an email today that my Lariat hybrid awd Space White BAP 4k tow package and tri-fold tonneau is "In Production."
