I have been a lurker for 3 months. Got mine a week ago. Its a XL 2.0 eco boost awd with an added the 4k package and Ford Co-pilot 360. So far I'm liking it. I plan on doing a few accessories. I have been a Ford Dealership parts salesman for 18 years. So far i have planned on a camera kit forward and back that is intergraded, tinting windows, bed cover and bed liner. I also want to do many other thing to it as well. I haven't put a single accessory on any car after 2005. Can't wait to have it all done

I figure I will get lots of questions. I'm fine with it to an extent. Helping people is the main reason I continue to do it. Ford makes everything so difficult for the dealers that at times it sucks the passion out of all of it. Also
Ingluno I like the green but couldn't pull the trigger on it on the maverick. Now the Bronco Sport would be sharp but I don't want a wet belt.

" I have been a Ford Dealership parts salesman for 18 years " did you buy it with D-plan?

To each there own, as long as you are good with your decision that’s all that matters. The truck matches what I needed out of a vehicle with some nice comforts. I’m extremely happy with it. I like the 2025 bronco black appearance package, guess that’s my thing lol.

Exactly. I'm a minimalist at heart and dislike flashly parts like chrome mirrors, bumpers and over the top wheels. I actually prefer the silver steel wheels. Come fight me over it!!!!! LOL

nice of your dealership to allow you to use it..my only question would be , why the econoboost vs hybrib same trim..I figured the gas you save over the years would eventually offset the grand difference between engines. Was there another factor besides the extra $$ you tried to save upfront by buying eco engine ?

Never been a fan on chrome, a little can be ok but a lot of vehicles use way to much lol

I'm a good 45 miles from work 1 way so one of the benefits is a gas card. 80% of my drive is above 55MPH so the hybrid didn't make much sense when it comes to gas mileage. Also it was cheaper too. My old 15 Escape was a 1.6L ecoboost and it didn't have the first problem with the engine. Bought it new and am in the process of selling it now. My wifes car is a 20 Edge with the 2.0L eco boost and I love it too. The 2.0L in this maverick is way less complex when it comes to new technology. The intake valve issue with direct injection system is solved by 4 port injectors. I also plan on keeping this for 8-10 years. I want nothing to do with a hybrid battery system that has 150k on it. That system isn't completely untested but the 2.0L ecoboost has been around for quite some time.
