2025 Maverick Lariat Almost Here

Hey all. Just joined and excited to see everybody's builds. Figured I would share mine as I sit here and do my daily refresh to see if it's been delivered yet.

I have on the way a 2025 Lariat in Eruption Green. Hybrid with the BAP, 4K Tow, Power Moon Roof, and the Touchlink Bed LED Lights.

I currently drive a 2023 Hybrid XLT for work which is why I ended up ordering one for myself.

My 2025 shipped on 02.04.2025 and the estimated delivery date has been getting pushed back week after week. The dealer just texted me to let me know that my Maverick along with a bunch of others and a bunch of 25 Expeditions are being held in Dilworth Minnesota. No idea if that's normal or what that means but if anybody has any insight, I would love to hear it.

Mine shipped 1/27 and has been delayed over and over. It’s been sitting outside of Detroit since 2/7. It’s currently projected to deliver from 3/31-4/6.

The reasons I’ve heard are that they’re being held for a software update and that ford parted ways with one of their major shippers creating a backlog.

Ford has just started updating the SYNC 4 system 2 days ago. Hopefully your Maverick will be delivered to your dealer within 2 weeks. I am in the same situation myself. My Maverick has been sitting in the Kansas City railyard since 3/3/25.

Thanks for the updates. I wonder do they have to unload all the vehicles and perform the updates and then load them all back up or do they just have a tech show up with a USB drive and climb around the vehicles on the train doing them one by one? lol

Per my dealer just this morning, my incoming hybrid Lariat (which has been stuck in Kansas City for at least 3 weeks now) has changed status to "shipable" (where it previously was "not shipable"). So evidence points to them working through the backlog of software updates and making progress.

I would guess that they're being held at transload points where they've come off of railcars from Mexico, and are sitting in a large holding lot, waiting for trucks to haul them to dealers. If your truck is showing as being in Kansas City, my *guess* is that it's this lot:

My Maverick has been sitting at the Kansas City railyard since 3/3/25. On 3/18/2025, VIN View did indicate my Maverick was shippable.

HAH...not sure if you are serious but that's awesome if true. My wife is trying to convince me the drive the 5 hours one way this weekend to stay in Fargo so she can maybe get a glimpse of it.

I live outside of town here,lived in dilworth many years,was a big distributor of vehicles but has gotten smaller over time,mine hopefully will come thru there also,

Really just updating this so others who are suffering this wait know they aren't alone.

This will be the fourth week in a row it's been pushed back a week. Truck is a 5 hours' drive away and awaiting a software update I am told.

Texted my sales guy if we'd see a delivery this week and he said doubt it, so I'm not getting my hopes up

No idea if he has more information than I do or maybe he is just trying to be positive. I just got a text from my salesperson at the dealership saying it should be there in about a week. His words were "looks like its getting scheduled for delivery finally." So, It sounds like he probably does have more info.

Well, a bit of an update on this. This morning, I did my morning check of the Order Tracking site, and it now tells me "The Order Number and VIN entered do not match with a corresponding vehicle order."

Not sure if this is normal behavior or maybe just a glitch in the system on their end. Will wait to see if others start reporting this as well.
