2025 Lariat Android Auto says text was sent, but no text is sent

Android Auto through Sync4 system. using a Samsung A16 both wired and wireless. Android Auto commanded to send text to XXX, Asks for message, repeats message to me, "send", confirmation from Android Auto that text has been sent to XXX, no text is sent SOMETIMES. Any thoughts?

Sounds like more an issue with Android Auto than with the truck. I would try asking in the Android Auto Reddit sub.

That's irrelevant. There isn't anything the Maverick Sync system can change from car to car with Android Auto. Android Auto is it's own separate system run by Google. One thing you can try is to delete your phone & pair it again to the truck. Other than that you should check with an Android Auto group or sub to see if anyone has any other suggestions.

Art, pardon me for appearing confused. No settings were changed on the phone, Ranger had Sync3, Maverick has Sync4. Thought perhaps the issue was with the new version of Sync.

Nope. Any Android Auto settings would be on your phone. The only AA adjustment you can make on the truck settings is to enable AA or turn it off. If you're using it then it's already enabled. The only option you have on the truck is to remove the phone and pair it again. If that doesn't work then you have dig into Android Auto settings on your phone.

The first steps I would suggest is unpair the phone from your truck then go to your phone apps and clear the cache & data for Android Auto. Then pair it to your truck again. If that doesn't solve the issue then you're going to want to ask for help in an Android Auto specific group or just do a Google search. The Android Auto Reddit group is pretty good.
