The Maverick is the only truck that will be under 5K lbs once fully outfitted for flat towing and holding cargo in the bed. F-150 comes in just under 5k without outfitting and the Ranger is about the same. I haul a folding e-trike and spare generator in mine. Installed a camper shell with “windoors” on the sides to aid in access when securing the load. Love my Maverick.
