I live in Reno NV. Seems a just a few of weeks ago dealers still could pre-sell arriving inventory with up to a $5,000 markup. Yesterday there were four Mavericks sitting on the lot, and the salesman swore they were going to sell them MSRP with zero additional markup or mandatory addons. Has something changed in the world of Maverick buying?

That is what i was thinking as well.
Now next to that vehicle there was an basic XL AWD for 28K MSRP that was sold.
So this is Wisconsin and it sometimes snows a lot and icy here... snowed yesterday! Maybe gas prices are not high enough yet for the folks to forgive some of the price increases and settle for FWD.
