I've been lucky, or did I manage the allocation/restraints game well?
I didn't like the Velocity Blue on my first XL (ecoB), but I had to sell it—medical stuff :alien:.
Hoping I like the Atlas Blue color on next XL (hybrid) better; it should be arriving at the dealership in a week or so.
Hot Pepper Red is my favorite color for the Maverick. Now available on the 2024 MY XLs...sometimes timing is just a little off.
Next time I play Powerball, and skip the XL trim.

Priority code only matters within the dealership. If they make all of their orders 19 then they are all the same for priority. If it is a rollover and the dealer entered it correctly then Ford sets the priority code.

Ford has never said they will make a lot of XLs and never will.
Ford should be retooling some other plants asap. I think they could sell the entire year's production of Mavericks as fleet XL hybrid. Easily.

I apologize if this has been covered already, but did they drop the slider rear window? I don't see if on the build and price.

with the final 3 weeks of production not taken into consideration and 9k XLs left in the order banks, if I read that constraint list properly, I imagine new 24 XL orders are in for a long, strange trip if only 20% of 24 production is XL. I hope carryovers are excluded from the 24 20% XL target. If my analysis is flawed please correct me, I don't want to be spreading false concern.

another way automakers are raising prices. they purposefully short build lower priced models.

meh, if i order it'll be a xl and if i dont get it i dont care that much, lots of fish (trucks) in the sea. unlike usually when the media lies and says inflation is lowering, in used vehicle case it seems it actually may be true based on my spot checks. used trucks seem to be coming down a bit and staying on lots longer.
