I received my 2024 Maverick XLT Hybrid on Dec 4, 2023. So I've been driving it for just over 10 months now. Here's a brief rundown of my use and what has been done.
1. I drive about 200 miles a week for work (20 miles each way) with an even split of 10 highway and 10 city.
2. My MPG on the instrument cluster is 46.7 and I've tested it manually and it is about 99.5% accurate.
3. I usually drive about 65 MPH on the highway, use cruise control, & in Eco drive mode (I think that helps with my MPG).
4. Did my first oil change at 7,500 miles and will continue to do so every 7.5K miles (don't trust the 10K miles to oil change recommendation and think 5K is overkill).
5. I did bring it to the dealership for the 2 reclass we had this year.

Here are my pros and cons so far:
Pros:
Excellent MPG. I usually get about 610 miles per tank
Smooth ride for a "truck". (I know, it doesn't have a frame :))
Cons:
There's a slight delay with the back up camera view appearing on the screen when put in reverse.
There's a lag in the image of the back up camera sometimes too.

Overall, I love my truck and would recommend it. I've not experienced any major issues that I've seen in the forums like (loss of power, battery dying, etc). I do wish that Ford do a recall on the back up camera issues because I seen a few owners talk about it.

I reported the backup camera to NHTSA, as did others. I was contacted by an NHTSA engineer investigating the issue, and I pointed him to some threads on MTC. Doesn't mean it'll go to a formal safety investigation. But they're at least aware of it.

Not to start another oil change frequency thread, but your "7,500" mile Hybrid oil change rule of thumb is likely wasting money on oil & filter, since you're very likely not running the ICE 7,500 miles if half your driving is city. And the 10k/or 12 months year oil change suggestion for the Hybrid (in the owner manual) is a rule of thumb if you do not use the OLM. The OLM takes into consideration how many miles the ICE is being used, among other things.

AFAIK, no one on here who followed the OLM's recommended changes thought they waited too long to change the oil/filter, based on the Blackstone oil analysis reports they posted.

Yeah I get that. I’m just old school and figured it’s not that I feel safe using the 7.5k mark. If it really hurts my pocket then I’ll switch to 10k. I know the ICE says the oil is good but I still changed it at 7.5k. Maybe I watch too many Scotty Kilmer videos on YT😂.

I have found that if I have the audio and other accessories running at the time I shift into reverse, it slows the appearance of the backup camera on the screen.

I have half the miles you have on my '24 hybrid but I agree, it is a very nice driving vehicle and going 600+ miles on a tank is amazing.

I learned to live with some of the quirks: I have the proximity key and when I put my hand on the door handle, I wait a second after I hear the doors unlock before yanking on the handle to open the door.

When starting out after a stop, I slowly move my foot from the accelerator to allow the hill hold feature to disengage, and so on.

But each time I get into it, I am pleased with the driving dynamics and in my Lariat, the features that admittedly I paid a premium for.

I prepaid the maintenance for 10 years.
I've had two oil changes and I'm only at 7k miles and they came to my house to do them.
Had the two rounds of recalls done at the same time, probably why they did the first oil change at 2k.
