I'm honestly not sure how yours hasn't been built yet. The dealer screwing with you on their allocations? Considered hitting up another dealer and see if they have one to go through?

I would say the same thing. Ask the new dealers how many allocations they have and how many builds they have waiting to be built. Also your order priority is a thing. 10 is supposedly the best number priority.

Are you able to order out of state like that? Would you have to go pick it up?
Yes you can. You would need to come pick up or have it shipped. If you finance with us, we pay for the first $1000 of shipping cost or travel expenses if you pick up. $495 dealer fee, no other fees. We charge MSRP.

@Jakedangler yes, you can order out of state. I drove 5 states away to get mine at $3k under MSRP from Granger Ford in IA. Another member came from Hawaii. In another thread I just read a member traveled from TX to IA.

Long McArthur has sold vehicles to folks all over the US.
You can either go and get it or have the truck shipped to you.
See @fordvideoguy's post here for more details.

Edited to add: I was typing this ad Tim replied. Sorry for duplicate information.

I think maybe you should look for a new dealership. I ordered the Lariat hybrid with everything but the 4k tow package. Good luck !

I’m curious if anyone here has had a 24 built this year and when did they sign up for their build? I signed up last month and am now being told that I am one of only 2 of my dealerships build requests. I also heard on YouTube from long McArthur that lariat had a higher likelihood of being fulfilled.. I’m hoping some of you guys can give more insight as to how long I should expect to wait. Any posts from 2023 all talk about extreme wait times but I haven’t been able to find anything talking about waiting as long as everyone in previous years. I’m also considering switching my order to a 25 (once that is announced in Aug) if I’m gonna be waiting a long time for both either way. Any info is greatly appreciated, stoked to be a part of the club officially!
I replied earlier after @MM Mav tagged me. I went back to read the OP.

Lariat orders easier to get scheduled as long as your dealer has allocations. I would say if your dealers has at least 2 allocations your order should get scheduled next week for a September build date with October delivery to the dealer. Ford will usually schedule all of a dealer's retail orders the first week of the scheduling month. So if you ordered right after that happened, you might have missed that and therefore seem like a long time to get scheduled. Some people have order right before that scheduling and got their order scheduled quickly just based on the time in the month they ordered.

2025 orders probably won't show up to dealers until late December or January. 2025 production will probably start in November and Jim Farley said that all refresh production will be held for 6 weeks before shipping out to make sure quality is right.

Hope this helps.

My salesperson said this “we only have 2 mavericks for special orders, you being one of them. So it is definitely at the top of our list however building them is completely up to ford and how they do things. I cant say for sure that they wont be starting anything this month but as far as we can tell right now we do not have anything scheduled to start production.”

Does that mean that I probably won’t be scheduled this month?

Dealer has 8 Maverick orders last I knew, one a few days older than mine. Dealer is where I have been having my vehicles serviced at since I bought my "Ford Certified" 2010 Edge, then my 2015 Edge and currently my 2020 Escape (all 3 were "Ford Certified). This will be my 1st "ordered" vehicle since I ordered my 1st Escape (sight unseen) back in 2001. Thanks for all the info, but at this time I guess I will sit it out hoping that my order rolls over to a 2025.

Ask them how many allocations they have this month. The final numbers were due today. If they have greater than 2, I would put money on it you would get scheduled in the next 2 weeks.
