I just picked up my 2023 yesterday and we did the ziebart aftermarket spray in bedliner. There are some flexible areas that I've taken a picture of that they did a spray over on and I think they should be cut out. Thoughts? It's a small rectangular area and it definitely has like some overspray on it.

I’m pretty sure you are right. Those need to be cut out.

They do need to be cut out and the issue is I can flex the rhino lining enough that I'm pretty sure ziebart remove the panels then did the rhino lining forgot to cut it out and reinstall those plastic pieces so I bet they've been thrown away since it's been over a week.

Ouch! Those out there in Maverick Land considering a spray in bedliner learn from this. My experience with "LineX" is that you pay more, but quality is outstanding. They remove literally everything that can be removed before spraying. Takes longer, more labor intensive but the results are worth it in the long run. Go to the "LineX" web site to view videos on their process. The problem is if you live in a community that does not have a "LineX" dealer, then you may have to consider other options. Personally, if that was the case for me, I'd make arrangements to the closest dealer/installer and plan on a mini vacation to that community. They will need the vehicle for at least a full day. Other option is to have the dealer spray in IF they provide that service or you can go with what this individual did. The Ziebart aftermarket spray in bedliner is, in my opinion, better than the drop in bedliner. I have the LineX and have had a drop in bedliner in another vehicle. I did not like the drop in bedliner. The Ziebart will do the job. It all depends on what kind of detail you want. If your Maverick is going to be a "beater" work truck, by all means go with the cheapest.

Ziebart apologized and I was in and out in 5 minutes. The ports still had the plastic piece over top and were taped over. They just forgot to cut out the rhino lining. Understandable considering it was the day after Christmas.
