2023 Hybrid XL - 1000 mile Report

Picked up my Truck at the dealership January 20, 2023 - 358 days after ordering. (January 27, 2022). My Order was moved from MY22 to MY23 in September 2023. At that time I requested to change from a option loaded XLT with EcoBoost to an XL Hybrid with "0" options, hoping this would speed up delivery. I am so Happy that I made the change. Average MPG for first 1000 miles is 44.2 - are you Kidding me ?
It's mostly driven to and from work in suburban Atlanta traffic with maybe 15% freeway travel. An added surprise is that it has plenty of power when you need it. Transition from Electric drive to ICE is so smooth that you can't tell one from the other. Also Comfort, Handling, and Ride Quality are Excellent. My 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid is Good but the Maverick Hybrid is Incredible in comparison. 2023 MSRP was $23690. With my $1750 Private Offer from Ford that put me at $21940 before Dealer prep, Tax, and Title Transfer. I could nitpick a few things, but for the price - this Truck exceeds all my expectations. If I feel the need for speed, I'll fire up the Old Vintage Maverick and take it for a spin. I Love my Ford Mavericks
