Hello everyone. The time has come for me to put my Maverick, QuikRik, up for sale!
I would invite anyone who is interested to take the time to review my extensive build thread: Project QuikRik.
I will start with the price. I would like to get $25,500, AS IT SITS! All it's pluses, and all it's minuses....
That said, here is the rundown:
2022 Ford Maverick XL AWD, with 4K tow package, only options besides that are a block heater, and the 400W interior inverter.
The chassis and engine have 62,000 miles on them, and the transmission and front axles have less than 5,000 miles on them.
I will include the buttons for cruise control, as I never got around to install them.
I'm going to start with what is wrong with the truckette first.
1. The windshield is cracked. It's been like this for a long while, it didn't interfere with my line of sight, so I didn't get it fixed.
2. There are rock chips, one above the passenger rear door that includes a small dent the size of a pea.
3. Due to me having upgraded the fuel line and intake pump, it does randomly get check engine codes for fuel pressure and evap leakage.
4. The bed does have plenty of scrapes and scratches. The paint is terrible on these trucks, and I use this as a truck.
Ok, on to the good stuff!
These are the performance modifications that will come on the truck.
Warm air intake, as pictured. It does have a much freer flowing elbow as well, that leads to the turbo inlet.
It has a Corsair 2.3t turbocharger.
It has my own built 3" downpipe, and a 3" vbanded exhaust after that. I used mild steel piping, and vibrant muffler and resonator. A vbanded stock exhaust is able to go with it as well.
The intercooler is a Rev9 unit meant for a Focus RS, and it attaches to factory intercooler piping.
AEM progressive Water/Methanol injection. Turns on at 7-8psi, and ramps up to full spray at 16psi. I will include 5+ gallons of water/meth mix as well. Most likely 8-10 gallons.
Tuner: SCT X4 handheld with multiple tunes. I will include all the tune files for 87 performance tow, 91oct, 93oct, E30 without water/meth, and E30 with water/meth.
Brakes: Volvo/STI 4pot Brembos with factory S60R pads (these have a lot of brake dust, upgrading pads is probably a must....) stock calipers can be included as well.
I will also include all stock components that are still intact, for things like the fuel lines etc.
I will also include a full set of steelies with snow tires on them, and my Bronco Sport wheels with very low tread tires on them.
This Maverick, as many know, is STILL somehow the record holder as quickest and fastest Maverick. I'm sure that won't last too long, but I have proven this to be a Very reliable setup! It's current fastest dragstrip pass is 12.39@112mph, and fastest dragy run of 11.96@117mph.
It also still gets 30+ mpgs with all around driving.
I do still have money owed to Ford Credit, so that will have to dealt with as well, which is a minor issue I'd say.
Thanks for looking!
