I removed the plastic scoop after my last oil change. Since I don’t use my Truck for off roading is there any reason for putting it back in?
I would put it back- If Ford decided a scoop was needed for airflow cooling it probably needs it- Especially if towing @ elevation- ETC

Yep the tail light popping on some has been posted before. Another good testament among many on the echo boost engine reliability that so many claimed would have problems. Like anything else if you maintain it well it will serve you well regardless of what it is.
Honestly i would have guessed our transmissions would give faster than anything but it seems to be solid so far. I was never really too worried about the motor being able to push 250k. These 2.0’s are wet belt driven correct? That would be the only thing I’d be worried about engine wise.
I’ve done 50k miles in 22 months knock on wood been a great vehicle. Did 4 oil analysis samples with blackstone and zero sign of rubber in the oil. Great to see a Mav on its way to tap the 200k mile mark, I hope he keeps us updated.
