Gotcha. Hopefully they don't do any upcharges, and they aren't supposed to do ADMs.
My wife graduated from Authur Hill in 1969. I graduated from St. Charles High in 1975. Our first house was on Mason down by the VA hospital. We moved from Saginaw in 1992, due to me getting a job in Metro Detroit. Lots of memories there! My first new car was a 1984 Ford EXP, bought from the Ford dealership on Bay Rd.

Mine was built August 25, didn't leave the factory until the night of 10/06 (sat for over 40 days).

For the railroad tracker, here are the steps:
- Call (800) 235-2352
- Press "1" after the first question ("1" is for location)
- It will then ask for the railcar initials. Yours likely is TTGX.
- It will then ask for railcar #.
- Say "Done."
- Enjoy your status report!

You need to ask Ford CS or your dealer for the railcar information. It's on the Vehicle Visibility Report.
I called Ford CS yesterday after I received your info, asking for the railcar initials. They said it wasn't on a railcar, but that it was in St. Louis. They didn't know how soon it would be in-transit again, or if by train or carrier truck? Getting closer though!

Awesome!! I know exactly where you're talking about, the VA Hospital is still there. I live near Mackinaw just down the road from Arthur Hill in fact. And that'd be Wilson Ford! Don't know if it was called that at the time though.

That's interesting for sure. I feel like they'd try to get it closer to SC before putting it on a carrier. Must be soon, though!

It was called 'All American Ford' when I bought my EXP. Took awhile to recall, since it has had many name changes over the years. We still have family members throughout the area.

You must be going nuts waiting so long since it was built? Mine is also VB, Lariat Lux Hybrid. First hybrid I will own. Don't need AWD down here in SC, though last Jan. we did get 6" one night, shut down everything. They don't plow the roads, you just hunker down and 'ride the storm out!'

Not going nuts anymore hahaha. I was getting nervous while in the "Awaiting Shipment" phase. Truck was just sitting at the factory for ~6 weeks. Once it got on the train and actually moving, I was able to breathe a little easier.

As you know, the AWD is definitely needed up here LOL. I also do occasional off-roading so the FX4 package was a must. Also, IMHO, the value of the 4K tow and FX4 packages seemed pretty good to me.

I traded in my 2018 F150 for the Maverick. The F150 was my first truck, really liked it, but just too much truck for me and my needs. One of the reasons we moved south was the snow. We had lived the past 21 years in Traverse City when we moved south. I retired, so time to move south.

That's also why I'm going the route of the Mav, an F-150 is more than I need, and honestly even a Ranger is overkill for anything I do. Congrats on retirement!

Mine built on Oct 7th shipped the same day. Out of curiosity I called the train tracker. It's in Arizona. Truck expected Nov 4th to 10th. Will check again in a week or so.

Was the automated rail service tracker. All it said it was in Arizona. Said nothing about bad order. Was a bit surprised it got to AZ in 2 days. Also drive a F 150 thing is huge! Nice driving but parking it and manurerability is a headache.
Update: you got me curious after I told myself to just let it ride and be patient. It left Tuscon today at 6:30 am. Who knows where the next stop will be.

Cool! Glad to hear yours is moving. Mine has been Bad Ordered since Saturday evening, so I hope it gets moving again today or tomorrow. Up until then, they seemed to be moving pretty quick, ~250 to 300 miles/day give or take. So yours might be near El Paso by tomorrow morning. I believe they head through there before heading farther NE.

Thanks this got me interested in the routes trains take. With trucks you see them on the road daily. Trains are kind of the hidden. Amazing how it works.

Mine went from Nogales to East Saint Louis, IL to Dolton, IL to the Calumet Yard in IL, on to Toledo, OH and is now in Conway, PA and has been for more than 24 hours. I don't know the next stop but it's heading for Port Wilmington, DE to be trucked to the PA dealership. ETA is 10/18-10/24. Really hoping for it to be ready by Monday 10/17.
