17" machine-face aluminum wheel option for 2023 XL and XLT

I did try to ask for the 17 inch machined aluminum wheels option when i placed my XL order but obviously no luck making that happen. Was anyone able to get an official reason why the technical specification sheet listed XL as an option for them? Just a typo?

Canada could/can option them.

The standard XLT wheel, the 64V machined wheel and the Tremor wheels are all, in my opinion, the same casting.

They are not. The XLT is raised around the edges of the main openings which are larger, on the optional wheels it's the opposite.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. The 64V and the tremor are the same though.

how would one go about getting these added on? I looked on ford.com and it is not showing this as an option. Im not sure how this works as this would be my first ford/truck order as well as my first preorder. Can the dealership somehow request this even though its not showing as an option on Ford? Also, to clarify, would these look the same as the XLT wheels? Couldnt find a pictire that I was sure about. Thank you

You can't get them optioned on an XL in the US, for the 2022 model year they were only available on Candian XL models where the 4K tow package was optioned.

They are a stand alone option on 23 XLT (and maybe Lariat). I hate all black wheels so I added them to my order. The option code is 64V. I really hope they don't become a constraint, although I have seen many mavericks with them, especially FX4s.

Darn The 23 xl was what I could afford for my son as a single mom. Just hate the wheels! I got a little excited Thank you for clearing that up for me
