A little tricky with the dash monitor but that is what I am using with my lariat. Which hybrid do you have.. with my lariat. After my drive I leave monitor in dash power point and just push the ready button once and without doing anything do not open door. Wait until things power down lights go off (30 seconds?). The monitor should show what voltage the 12v I putting into the buss. Mine will display 12.1-12.8 volts. (Depending on SOC of 12v). When getting into truck in am get in shut the door. Push the power point monitor in to turn it on and read the SOC. OF 12v. Then you can push the ready button which will ready the truck and the voltage monitor will jump to 14.8 and turn on all 12v items. I have not checked my XLT That has a key but I expect to just turn the key to accessory without for enought into the spring portion to "start" truck. I expect on hybrid this will show the 12v SOC Since you haven't started the truck.
I have a lariat. I leave the power point plugged in all the time. Once I push the button to turn off the truck, I have stayed in and watched it trickle down to 12.2 to 12.3.

Great I have caught 12.1 and it appears that at something below 12.1 the computer will activate the charge cycle and charge at 14.8v. I doubt that it will raise the 12v battery over 12.5 but am only guessing that it would take too long a trickle charge to be efficient. The bms will have learned how long it needs to maintain 12v at a sensible efficient level using minimal charge off the HVB.

I live in Anchorage. I have an XLT Hybrid. It goes into deep sleep mode. I've turned off the Ford Pass crap, but it still goes into deep sleep. In the mornings when I turn the key to the first notch, my cigarette lighter volt gauge reads around 11.8 volts. Advance the key to the second notch, the gauge jumps up to 13 - 14 volts. Start the truck, it reads 15.4 volts and pretty much stays there. My commutes are short. Next morning same thing. It has never failed to start. It would be nice to have the courtesy lights come on when I open the door, as it's dark a lot now.

I think something is wrong electrically. Maybe just a bad battery. I have an appointment for the belly pan surgery recall next month and I have a list of "concerns" I'm going to ask about. It's a new truck. It should work right.

I would escalate trip to dealer to ASAP at a minimum. I assume it has deep slept but is not doing so every morning. Be sure to get jump box ready. What is the SOC when you get home after your commute? Did you get the block heater and if so are you using it? It may be too short a commute for the climate. Get approval from dealer of how to hookup external charger and which type before trying that. Keep us posted.
