Lithium batteries are really small, 1.1kWh of cells weighs about 20 lbs. plus the packaging that Ford tacks on for cooling and battery management. To give a bit of perspective the average electric bicycle battery is 750wh, that's almost as big as the Maverick battery.

Man do I want to get this 2.0 turned up to about 350hp. It would be a real sleeper truck!

I didnt say popular. This was base. And usually those are work trucks.

We see a few fleet vehicles in single cab, short wheelbase form. Didn't realize they were lighter than the ranger though. I guess the aluminum body makes a difference.
