Just went to get the winters put on and my mechanic noted that my rear rotors are quite rusty for 8000 miles. Most of my driving is rural, with a few city trips...so not much hard braking going on. And I'm not out everyday, so low-mileage situation.
Any tips? I heard braking in N once in a...
They used to sell them on their eBay.ca store, but now only through the Sportwing website. Anyone from Canada order these from Sportwing? Any brokerage fees, duties and taxes?
Does anyone have these in the lower position seen here:
I like the above look way more than the one below, but am wondering if it's worth placing them there since they don't appear to be very thick and would likely not prevent dings higher up.
Out of the 1000 or so of you that have been contacted by Ford Motor Company here, how many have had a productive follow-up? My brother-in-law was contacted on another similar forum for the Mach-E, and was promised help in finding a part that is holding up the repair of his vehicle (over 4 months...
Or even, while waiting for it to be done...should they be deployed in an accident before replacement.
Does anybody know what the issue really is in practical terms?
Looks like they work (taken from a FB post from an affected model):
The recall notice mentions that the "displacement" is off...
Just wondering if anyone has tried installing one? Not even sure there is room around it to be able to TBH (the 12V one under the seat). Anyone from northern climes look into it?
For those of you in Canada who would like Rokblokz mudflaps without having to pay a minimum of CAD$121 for shipping, duties and taxes, you can order from this authorized Canadian retailer (I confirmed with Rokblokz). They charge about CAD$235 all in (free shipping and relevant taxes). This is...
A redditor identified an entry point for mice behind the rear seat. There is a vent there that has easily chewable flaps (first two photos are from the Reddit post) :
Having had this issue on my previous vehicle, I modded the vent with wire mesh. I used 1/2" square which worked fine for me...
I turned the wifi off from the center display and it keeps coming back on by itself. I can't get the signal from my home router outside, so I want to keep it off since I won't use it, battery drain, etc.
What could be turning it back on? The FordPass app?
Although my phone and tablet can where it is parked, the Maverick cannot. It fleetingly sees the SSIDs, but never long enough for me to get past the password. Anyone else need to drive through their front window to connect?
Also not sure how the Fordpass app communicates with the truck, because...
Haven't seen these posted anywhere, so I thought I'd share. They're also available in 18" which might look even better...I wasn't ready to upgrade the tires just yet (shown with stock tires). Keeping the steelies as winter rims.

Hey new owner here. Just wondering how long it took for the points to show up in your account and how many you ended up getting. I saw in an older thread reports of an extra 20K on top of the expected 40K.
Just got the call from the dealer that my Maverick arrived, but he started reading through the options to confirm and he mentioned the trailer hitch at $400. I checked my paperwork afterwards and it's listed at $140 when I ordered in November. Maybe he was reading from the waybill or window...

Anyone get confirmation from a Canadian dealer that hybrid models were no longer available for order after the 15th of November? Like the US?
On the Ford Canada website, Build & Price is not showing Limited Availability for the hybrid engine as is the case on the US site.
