They are. AutoNation came in close to my pay off, but was $1300 shy. I just didn't want to pay the difference, plus the down payment I made is lost and it's only been two months. I should have rented a car for a few months, but lesson learned.
I ordered my Maverick on June 18th. Well two. One at Mac Haik Ford in Georgetown TX and one at Covert Ford in Austin TX. Both ordered the same spec, Shadow Black, FX4, Lariat, Luxury Package, Sunroof and Full Size Spare. It was complete crickets on the unit from Mac Haik until a few weeks ago...
That's weird. So interestingly enough I ordered with them on June 15. I also ordered with Covert on June 17th just in case. On July 14th I updated both orders to include the full size spare tire, but I never received an order confirmation from Covert, only Mak Haik. Here's the kicker...Covert...
The turn signal on the LED signature headlamp on Lariat models uses the incandescent turn signal bulb. I don’t know, but my guess is the signature lighting will turn off during turn signal use on the side in use The Bronco Sport does this so I would assume this will too. We will have to wait and...
Should be straight forward as far as unibody repairs. The rear bed panel is actually a bolted on fender, just like the front fender, so it can be unbolted and replaced. Under the the top bed protector plastic covers are some mounting bolts along with some behind the tail light assembly and you...
Daytime running lights are configurable, meaning you can turn them on or off in the vehicle settings. They are most likely off on this vehicle. The Bronco Sport is set up this way as well.
The three lower positions are headlights. The two outer reflectors are the low beam LEDs and the inside 3rd is the high beam LED. None of these are utilized as the DRL.
You can see in this picture the Amber DRLs are on:
They are. However, XL and XLT trims use the amber turn signal bulb as the DRL and signal, the Lariat does not. It uses the LED signature at the top of the headlight assembly as the DRL and the amber bulb is just the turn signal.
All of the speakers in the B&O system are amplified with the amplifier you see in the picture. The headunit with this model is just the source and sends the amplifier the low input signal.
It is on the B&O plus the left and right speakers on top as well which are most likely the tweeters. Both front doors have a speaker along with the rear upper C-Pillar speakers and of course the subwoofer.
Pretty sure the print has been wrong this whole time and it doesn't have one for the Lariat trim. No defroster button on the climate control and none of the pictures of the rear glass show any defroster wires. I was hoping it did, but not a big deal.
I read that too in all the print, but the pictures show otherwise. I don’t see anything in the Lariat pictures showing an actual defroster included. Maybe the pre-production units don’t have it. We will see soon!
These are great! Thank you so much!
I was wondering where the subwoofer would be located on the B&O system and you can see that behind the passenger rear seat. You can also see the power rear window regulator as well.
I’m beginning to think the Lariat does not have a rear window defogger...
This vehicle appears well built and I don't think there is much to worry about. Whoever this is sounds like he's complaining more than anything. It's his opinion. I'm sure he's not an engineer because Ford engineers have tested and tested these components for durability. Bigger isn't always better.
It may happen later today or tomorrow. Apparently there was a system issue with Maverick scheduling yesterday, at least from what was shown today on the Ford Blue Oval forum.
Agreed. I don’t believe it. All of Fords documents show scheduling yesterday/today and production starting 8/16. Nothing says order verification 7/15 and scheduling 8/16. Doesn’t make sense at all. Guess we wait and see what happens. 🙄
