  1. 98K Miles Blackstone Lab Oil Report Analysis (Maverick Hybrid)

Awesome oil statistics. I've been a Mobil-1 fan since the '80's. Drove my '86 Nissan 300ZX 270k with the (then) accepted maintenance schedule: Every 5k miles, replace the oil filter & add 1 qt of oil, then do a full change at 25k miles.
  2. Infotainment/backup camera freeze?

My 2024 Lariat Hybrid has backup camera and infotainment issues, here is the VIN: 3FTTW8M35RRA42708, mileage is: 4172
  3. Choose wisely: Hybrid or Ecoboost

Great article on pros/cons of hybrid ownership. My previous vehicle was a Lincoln MKZ. When I retired my wife & I let go of the MKZ & managed with her Lincoln MKC. I started looking for a vehicle that could be flat towed behind our motorhome with a tow dolly of trailer. The Maverick Hybrid fit...
  4. Blackstone Labs Oil Report for 2022 HYBRID Maverick 7/24/2024 (11,487 miles @ 8% oil life remaining)

Hi Richard, et all, I looked at some YouTube videos on this product and came away impressed with the quieter motor sound plus improved fuel mileage. Heading over to their website I noticed that the Maverick wasn't listed, so I requested additional information. Here is what I got back from...
  5. Service engine oil light is a joke

"Don't confuse me with the facts, I'm smarter than those darn computers." ;)
  6. Tire pressure should be what?

It's those $2 stick tire gauges they use. Same thing at the quick oil change or tire shops. I carry a calibrated gauge to with 1/10 of a pound, but that's probably overkill! Also, air expands or contracts to outside temps, so always check regularly...when the tire is cold.
  7. Article: Americans Obsessed That Bigger Trucks = Better. Ford Maverick Proves The Opposite... (I like it too)!

Same here. My wife likes the Mav way more than her Lincoln. Just enough tech, but with knobs for the radio!

    Maverick Old Farts

Lots of cheap (Chinese) bed covers but I found one on Amazon, not cheap but made in USA with readable instructions and good support: RealTruck Gator FX Hard Quad-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | 8828324 | Fits 2022 - 2024 Ford Maverick 4' 6" Bed (54.4") https://a.co/d/8TdBvLp
  9. Any Hybrid owners regret not opting for AWD/Ecoboost

My Lariat hybrid was delivered in March, so far, excellent mileage & my wife likes it better than her new Cosair! It will be my 1st time without an AWD or FWD.
  10. Shipped finally! So what driving styles you recommending

I just leave mine in Eco mode as I enjoy getting 42-55MPG! I've only got about 1200 miles on mine, thoroughly enjoying this little trucklette!
  11. Maverick is MotorTrend's Top Pick for Best Small and Midsize Pickup Trucks to Buy in 2024

Our '24 Hybrid seems to work fine. The local dealer did the BCM software update, everything's good!
  12. Maverick Hybrid lowered on 22" inch wheels

What was the offset on the custom wheels? They seem to fit in the wheelwells nicely.
  13. What Collision Deductible did you select for you Maverick?

$1000 deductible on the Collision & $50 on the Comp. We have a lot of big trucks around here that throw stones into windshields so it makes sense. Bye the way, if your vehicle gets the catalytic convertor stolen, it's covered on your Comp. I know as my motorhome parked in a "secure" storage lot...

    Maverick Old Farts

Howdy M.A.F! My 1st new vehicle in decades is a '24 Lariat Hybrid, which I bought on my 73rd birthday in March. Very pleasantly surprised at the fit & finish on this loaded little truck. Almost 600 miles on it since I drove it off the lot, getting crazy good mileage. Not like my first car, a 4...
  15. My 1-Year 12,000 Mile Maverick Review (Honeymoon is over...)

Just bought a '24 Lariat Hybrid, 600 miles in 3 weeks, so far no problems, except the grabby brakes.
