  2. One week in and I couldn’t be more Happy

I have read a number of threads where owners of Mavericks and others, are getting more MPG than is advertised. Myself included. Years ago, it used to be the opposite? ISpecifically, we couldn’t attain the MPG that the OEM’s were specifying. it must have something to do with the onslaught of...
  3. One week in and I couldn’t be more Happy

I picked up my Atlas Blue XLT, 2.0 AWD baby last Saturday, and after one week I love it. Getting an average of 28.8-29.2 MPG. Very pleasantly surprised on that note. Drives nice, handles well on dry and wet roads, and has peppy pick up when called upon. I’m 60 and have been an F-150 owner...
  4. Will UAW Strike affect Maverick production / delivery?

Salaried workers (white hats, supervisors, management) can cross the picket lines, but they are few and far between. It can take hours and hours for them to get there an make a 1/2 mile move of a transport.
  7. On a train… strike looms

  8. Will UAW Strike affect Maverick production / delivery?

Yes. The production lines at Hermosillo should keep humming along without issue. The UAW strike is about as bothersome to them as a cloudy day. The wrinkle occurs when you look at logistics-parts delivery and product delivery. The Teamsters and Rail Workers will honor the work stoppages of...
  9. On a train… strike looms

From my past experience with this nonsense, the unified Teamsters and Rail workers will honor the picket lines of the other unions and will not cross them. Salaried workers of the various transportation companies are exempt from this stipulation and will cross the lines to make deliveries, but...
