This 'everyone else must be wrong and I am the only one who is right' thing isn't helping you. Also, intentional or not, some of your comments are coming off a bit like 'well we are only doing this to the customers because ford is doing it to us'. And to that, I would ask how you suppose the...
No argument from me there. Your point is valid. And fwiw, I think I own more of the responsibility for the hijack with my unnecessary original comment.
Wheels don’t go from not wobbly to falling off too fast. Lug nuts don’t go from on to off in an instant.
I’m not trying to argue or defend, I’m just saying it is more than likely that the car owner/driver bears some responsibility when they lose all their lug nuts and their wheel flys off.
I am not saying they didn’t tighten your lug nuts properly. But in between you leaving the shop with loose nuts, and your wheel coming off, you missed/ignored a lot of warning signs.
I could be wrong here, but generally if a wheel falls off, there is some responsibility on the part of the owner/driver. I mean, there are usually warning signs that a wheel is going to go do it’s own thing.
How about this? Does this count as Ford communicating directly to the public?

I think the main point that we see differently, which is OK, is that I believe Ford giving the dealers the date IS pushing that info to the public. It’s not like it was a “for internal use only“ memo. It is what the dealers base their communications with customers on.
Not trying to argue with ya, but you are moving the goal posts a bit here. You said "Official is when Ford stands up and puts their stamp on it", and I point out that Ford DID put their stamp on it when it sent tens of thousands of dealers the release dates. That pretty friggin official. I...
Im sorry, but Ford sent out emails/bulletins a few weeks ago stating a date of Aug 15, then Ford sent out emails/bulletins last week stating a date of Aug 2, and now Ford has said Sept.
These ARE statements from Ford, with their stamp on it.
My point seems to be lost on you, so this will be my last attempt at it. Since we know that the supply chain disruptions have been pretty consistent without some extraordinary event occurring in the past week, we can deduce that whatever drove ford to move dates backward, then forward, the...
And that is my original point: the delay is not the issue. The puzzling part is Ford moving the date forward 2 weeks from Aug 15 to Aug 2. Nothing crazy happened, supply chain wise since that date shift.
Nobody is saying Ford seems to have some issues because of delays. People are saying Ford...
That’s kind of my point: these are ongoing issues that have been fairly consistently ongoing for a long time. There was nothing special about last week.
10,000 miles and they are asking $38k, AND have the nerve to claim on the listing " Priced below KBB Fair Purchase Price! " when KBB actually says $27k. Brandon Deese at Jarrett Gordon Ford can S a D.
I am sorry to be the one to tell you, but this forum was created for people to vent about all the problems with their Mavericks, and to coalesce for any likely class action suits. You should not read any posts here, as they will depress you and fill you with anxiety.
I care about my fellow...
All of that* was true before the date was moved. People would not be as surprised the date was pushed back 6 weeks, if Ford has not pushed the date forward by two weeks less than a week ago.
*all of that, save for the interest rate. So if someone said Ford was doing this strictly in response...
