I thought I would share a picture of my Maverick during our totality eclipse event. I bet there are others out there that shot a picture of their Maverick in the wierd darkness. My iPhone tried really hard to compensate for the darkness (I wish it didn't).
Hi all, I just bought a new set of wiper blades for my 22 XLT. According to the Rain X catalog the driver side is 22 inch and the passenger is 21 inch. I pulled the driver side and compared it to the Rain X blade I purchased, there was a one inch difference. The original blade is 23 inches but...
I have a 22 Maverick XLT LUX Hybrid. The Bluetooth has been very much of an annoyance. I like to stream SiriusXM while I am in the car. The Bluetooth connects, and within about 2 blocks from my house it will pause. I have to push the play button on the sync2.5 lite screen to get it going. The...
I was looking at another thread about the center dash organizer and ran across these mud flaps. Has anyone tried these?

I have tried over and over to get my damn radio to update. I have an XLT with the sync lite 2.5 I believe. I have tried home wi-fi and hotspot with my iPhone and it will not update. I am on 18.01 and I see from MTC that there is an update to G2.0.0.01. Any suggestions on how to get this thing...
I just wanted to wish all of the MTC members happy New Year. I have been on this forum and I have enjoyed it for over 18 months. You all are my first go-to when I fire up my computer.
Hey guys gals, before I make a fool of myself at a car wash, what is the way to do it? Just put it in Neutral? I remember reading (a long time ago) before these were available. Someone said you had to go into the settings and disable something. Is that true?
I have a new record, I rode next to two Mavericks on my way to work today. One Velocity Blue and one Cyber orange with racks on the back with ladders on it. The CO had a little fender damage:( but it was going to work like a good Ford truck.
I have yet to have another Mav owner to at least give...
I was curious and decided to look for the jump locations under the hood. I broke out the manual and looked for the jump posts. It was not too obvious where they are located. So here they are, see attached.
BTW, I just bought a jump box from Amazon just in case.
I feel like driving is a game now. I hear everyone pull away from the traffic lights and gun the throttle ( I hear them because I have the window cracked so I don't have to run the AC) to get to the next red light. Next light same scenario. I have changed my driving habits now to maximize the...
I just picked up my Maverick from Germain Ford in Beavercreek Ohio (Dayton) The experience was great. My salesman was very good along this journey. No high pressure and the Finance manager was a joy to work with. He showed me what I could choose from as far as add-ons and explained them all, but...
I was looking at the Rivian site and found this letter. I believe they said it better than Ford.

Hi E
I’m writing you from our new Customer Engagement Center in Irvine, CA, where Guides and Specialists are working to support deliveries to customers across the country. It’s been a...
I think everyone that ordered the Maverick should get the 100.00 gift card that others are getting. I have been waiting since June and finally have a build date.
Thoughts?
I was just curious about where all of the 3/28 builds are heading. Like Southwest Ohio or Western New York or Michigan.
Yes mine is supposed to be built that week and it is heading to Dayton Ohio, Germain Ford Beavercreek Ohio. I am just trying to see if these builds are scheduled by location...
Just for the heck of it I Google Earth'ed (if that is a word) the plant. There are a lot of vehicles in one corner of the lot. They appear to be Mavericks. I can't wait for all of these wild Mavericks to find their homes!
I kept reading about all the things you can do with FORScan. I did not know what it was. I googled it and found this on Youtube. At least now I know what the heck all these guys are talking about, and how they are doing it.
I think that would be a good look for the XLT Mav. Maybe even do it in a gray that matched the wheels on the XLT. They could call it the Grabber edition.
PS. I don't know how to Photoshop.
I was thinking I could buy a sheet of 1/4 in plywood (not pressboard) and treat it with Thompsons water seal. Then get some type of Vinyl or Naugahyde black of course and stretch it over the plywood. I would put some eye hooks facing down so I could bungee cord it to one of the many hooks found...
