Yes, yes and yes. Matter of fact the product used as an example is developed by one of the best concours detailers in the world. And car show guys usually don't know why they use the products they use. They use stuff their buddies say it's good and have little chemistry background of the...
Ok so first off I'm not wrong dude. I just don't recommend doing that for reasons mentioned, but you physically can put a wax on top for car shows if your're simply trying to get a different shine. Also, there are products that accomplish this that are designed for coating use. Ammo NYC's Reflex...
I use a professional only coating from System X Ceramic, but also highly recommend Gyeon Trim which you can buy online. And like the other exterior coatings, I maintain it with my private label SiO2-based Ceramic Spray Coating.
PPF is very pricey, but can be worth it to protect a long term vehicle that you want to look its best. Klasse is just a sealant, a good one, but just a sealant. A ceramic coating is not meant to prevent any rock chips, but would be much stronger than any sealant. Also, if you do ceramic coat...
I have a carbonized gray Mav and have 1 or 2 tiny chips but hardly noticeable. I also professionally install ceramic coatings and will tell you that they will absolutely help to keep your vehicle looking new for a very long time. That being said there are limitations. Coatings are not a super...
Honestly the noise drives me nuts. It sounds cool at full throttle and letting off throttle under boost but driving on the highway at partial throttle or uphill just to maintain speed is loud and obnoxious. I'm over it. Not a noticeable power gain to justify it for me. It does slightly improve...
I'm selling a Buschur intake for 2.0 ecoboost Mavericks. It's hardly been driven, not even on my truck for a week. Asking $150 + shipping if you need me to ship it to you. I'm Temecula SoCal if anyone interested is local for pickup.
Is anyone interested in my intake? It's a brand new Buschur intake with brand new filter. Hardly driven. I live in Temecula, CA. $150 + shipping if you can't pick it up locally
I'm definitely a fan of the hard folding covers. I've had the roll up ones and the folding ones are just nicer. The big thing for me is making sure the clamps don't get in the way of the bed rail system. The Bak MX4 seems to be the best choice for me. So I'll go with that one pretty soon I think.
I have no idea, it's just an appearance Package. Even if they left the black 17" FX4 wheels that would still be fine. I have my FX4 already so I've just been doing a couple minor things here and there like replacing the FX4 decals. Might wrap the roof black and get some black painted emblems...
Ah ok, yeah configurators aren't always 100% accurate. Makes sense. I think the package looks awesome. I definitely want to do something similar to my FX4. Think the biggest expense would be the lights.
