  3. No auto start/stop?

    On my XLT Hybrid there are three function switches on the console. Drive mode, traction control & auto hold but no auto start/stop. I'm assuming there is NO auto start/stop on my vehicle. Is that feature exclusive to the EcoBoost?

  4. What's that noise?

    Whenever I open the doors to my Hybrid XLT I hear a sequence of clicks that sound like relays or switches activating. It lasts several seconds to nearly 30 seconds. Anyone know what they are? I'm assuming it's normal but it's seems unusual. Thanks

  6. My XLT Hybrid is being prepped for pick up.

    Two days ago (Wed) I got the e mail from Ford stating my Maverick is at the dealer and being prepped for pick up. I don't want to bother the dealer too early so can anyone out there tell me how long a wait I can expect? Thanks.

    Has anyone seen any information concerning the federal crash test safety ratings on the Maverick? I've seen nothing about it anywhere.

    Has anyone out there in Maverickland installed a catalytic converter anti-theft device yet? I'm interested in what would work. Cables, shields or whatever.

  9. Parking brake as emergency brakes?

    My vehicles have always been "old school". ( '69 Chevelle, '95 F-150, '08 Grand Marquis) This will be my first vehicle with the toggle type parking brake. My question is; Can the parking brake be used as an emergency brake in case of main system failure? Thanks.

  12. Why no tach in the hybrid?

    I know that the Hybrid Maverick is not equipped with a tachometer. Instead, is has a gauge to monitor/measure electric vs. ICE usage. But, is that due to it having an ECVT as opposed to a standard automatic transmission. Does a tach serve any purpose in a vehicle with a ECVT? Thanks.

    I just viewed my window sticker in the tracker feature and I saw that for my Hybrid XLT the price of the moonroof was listed as $995 BUT when I ordered it on 8/3 the price was printed out as $795 on the form. What gives? Can they do that? Anyone else have this happen?

  15. Additional 12V Outlet With Smoker's Package?

    Does anyone know than when the SMOKER'S PACKAGE is ordered that it includes an additional dedicated 12V socket for the lighter along with the ash cup and element? I've tried to search it but came up empty. Thanks.

  16. 2.5 liter for the Maverick only?

    Is the Atkinson 2.5 liter engine used exclusively in the Maverick Hybrid or is it also used in other Ford vehicles? I know the 2.0 Ecoboost engine cover from other Fords can be transplanted to the Maverick 2.0 but I don't know about the 2.5.
