Ford tracker is finally showing that my truck is in production. I was wondering how and when I will find out about my private offer. I know it may be a little early but just need some confirmation.
I don’t own this truck anymore but if I still owned it I would make more selling it for scrap! I hope when (if) the time comes to trade for my Maverick the truck I own now won’t have dropped in value by 85%!
Just read an article that states that lightning prices are going down by $10k and Ford states that is due to a “reduction in raw material costs”. In other words, the batteries? If that is the case, then why are the Maverick hybrid costs going up due to battery costs???
So I get a call from my dealer for the first time since I ordered last September (I have contacted them on several occasions but never the other way around)and one of the salespeople tells me that Ford is trying to weed out the customers that no longer want their order. I am already aware of...
A little over 90,000 Mavericks were produced in 2022 and about 25,000 C8 Corvettes were produced. I see about as many C8’s around where I live as I do Maverick’s. That tells me that either the Maverick production numbers are questionable or the allocation gods don’t smile down on the Ford...
Does anyone know what specifically is the constraint is on the Hybrids? If it’s the battery then I don’t understand how Tesla can build over a million fully electric vehicles and Ford has issues with a few thousand with a much smaller battery.
While waiting on my Maverick to get scheduled (if I ever get it) I am starting to get concerned about the value of my trade-in and what I will have to pay on the difference. They say that trade in values for used cars are really dropping. Anybody else concerned about that?
This may have been done in another forum, but I couldn’t find it. I just wanted to see if there was really that much difference between the cost of gas from an EB to a hybrid.
I took the average mileage for the federal highway administration of 14,000 miles. The info I found does not state...
Just curious. Those of you who have a Maverick hybrid and also own another hybrid. How does the drivability and smoothness of the Maverick compare to others? The reason I ask is that we just bought a Tucson hybrid and the transition between electric and ICE is imperceptible. I have a hybrid...
Back in September, right after the order bank opened up, Ford announced less than expected dealer allocation allowances. I think this is why some dealers took more orders than they were allowed. The story back then was that Ford was going to revise the allocations. Has anybody heard any...
I’ve been reading comments about how folks are liking their Maverick and just wondered if there are those who are a little disappointed with theirs. If so, why are you disappointed and what vehicle did you have before?
My buyers order shows priority 10 but I just checked with Ford chat and they are showing priority 15. Why would they be different? Who would have changed it to 15 from 10? Also, who would be responsible for changing it to lower number when I get closer to having it scheduled?
Not sure how to word this but here it goes. Let’s say I have a 22 order that I reorder as a 23 because it hasn’t been built yet. And let’s say by some miracle my 22 order gets scheduled between now and when the production ends in November. Is it possible that I could have a 22 and 23 order...
Anyone talked to a middle TN dealer who has confirmed the August 2nd order bank opening that sells at MSRP? I have contacted two and both don’t know about the date.
When I look at different pictures of XLT models some have lighter, almost chrome, looking wheels and some have darker grey wheels. On the Ford website they look dark grey. Is it possible to spec. out the lighter wheels?
