I agree with the OP. I tend to want to use actual CD's when driving as opposed to my phone/tablet/etc. I bought a CD player for around $10 off Amazon a year or so ago. USB plug in. For some reason (mostly because I'm old) I have trouble keeping my tablet connected via Bluetooth.

I'm getting about 27 on my 2023. I've got 37k miles on it. The 27 is based on the fuel economy indicator. About 2/3 of my driving is local. I've taken 2 trips of about 4k miles each. I'm in Florida, so most of my local driving is flat.

I have keyless entry, but not remote start. So, I put my "spare" fob in a Faraday bag and put it under the back seat. If I would lose the fob I'm carrying, I can use the keypad to get in and get the other fob.

I have always liked to listen to audio BOOKS while driving. My local public library still has a decent selection of them on CD's. And yes, they also have ones to download. With a book, it's typically one and done.
