I'm having the same issue on my drivers side. I noticed a puddle on the drivers side door panel last week during heavy rains and found out that it's very wet on the driver side floor.
So do you mean the black cowl at the base of the windshield?
Same thing happened with my Mazda3. The dashboard melted into a reflective surface and it would literally blind me when driving into the sun. I bugged the hell out of Mazda and they eventually issued a recall for it.
You gotta hammer customer service until they cave or stop picking up the phone.
Turtle Wax Hybrid ceramic spray for me. It takes no time to do the whole truck and it last for a few months if not longer. Just be sure to wear gloves or your hands are gonna be water resistant for a few days:rolleyes:
