Same here. I had a K&N in my Wrangler for years and it was just a pain in the ass. Think I actually cleaned it twice before I threw it away. Paper is better anyway. They breath better and catch more particulates.

Search the forms and you'll find quite a few. It's a major headache.

Quite a few of us are having the same problem. I've had mine in the shop twice and they haven't figured it out. Ford told me to try a different service department so it's gonna go in again... I've racked up around 1k in rental car fees so far and I'm praying Ford will reimburse.

Watch out for water leaks. Quite a few of us are dealing with rain water getting into the cabin and ruining the carpet.

Mines a 22 Lariat FX4 with the tow package. I've seen a few hybrid owners on here with leaking problems as well so it's across both models.

I do whenever I can but I live in LA and have to parallel park daily so I just had to get use to it. I'm good now but had to give a few "love taps" before I found my limits.
