I disabled the horn for my remote start and the initial run time is 15 minutes and then it shuts down.

If you are on a schedule you can set the remote start to fire up at a specific time and then you don't have to worry about it

About 30% of what is in a bottle of engine oil is additives, so if the oil has been on the shelf for a long time there is a high likelihood that additives will have settled. You are absolutely correct though about the oil needing filtering before going into use.

Probably because Ford engineers don't know where he lives or how/when the vehicle will be operated. I fully grasp the idea of sticking with OEM recommendations for anything under warranty, but once it is out it is better to use what fits your specific application.
