Yes, that is correct. If you have option 53Q then the limit is 40 sq. ft. However, since you have the Hybrid, which is not available with the 53Q 4K Tow Package, the limit for your vehicle is still 20 sq. ft.

I just listened to the video. If I close my eyes, it sounds like the exhaust on my old CB750, before I replaced the leaky exhaust gasket. It's really hard to make a 2.0 in line sound good.
