Wow. there's a lot of overthinking going on here. these are ball park figures, of course you can go to those extremes but most people have far better things to do with their time. I grab the figures from the dash and do some quick math when I fill back up just to see how the 2 figures relate to...
I had Energy savers on my old 2012 jetta Tdi and finding out how bad they are in wet weather is not an experience I wish to repeat. I pulled them off after less than 500km and scrapped them. They may give better MPG figures but I'm not prepared to sacrifice safety for a couple of bucks a fill up
A great little review, a few more "youtubers" could do with taking a leaf out of these guys book and introducing some humour into their reviews instead of just being in love with the sound of their own vocal opinions.....
while modern engines don't necessarily need the old school break-in routine of old a bit of mechanical sympathy can't hurt. But hey, not my truck not my problem, treat your rig as you see fit
Exactamundo.
If I cared about my engine looking pretty I probably wouldn't be buying a 2.0t Ford pickup. An Alfa V6, Ferrari V12, Mclaren F1 V12, Lamborghini V12, Cosworth DFV, maybe, but not a pickup.
If you are going to suggest my logic is skewed and contradictory at least have the decency to follow up that accusation as to why.
I'm not limiting anything, I don't get to decide the reality of anything, only my own perception and opinion of it which is what I presented. scientific evidence...
Correct.
Do I believe in UFO's? Not currently, but presented with enough scientific evidence then probably yes. Advanced ET life is scientifically possible, the other one is not.
not a whole lot, ride height is too low for anything beyond a graded gravel road, I'm looking at flipping the axle and getting some more aggressive tires for it in the Spring, make it a bit more off roady.
