Do you know what a bell-shaped-curve is?
Basically, for every accidental "lemon" out there comes a really good one.
For example, mine rattles like hell, but I get 54 mpg every day of the week.
🤷🏻♂️
4,653 vehicles.
across 5 years and two platforms.
A) that's a pretty specific number.
B) how do they know that is the number
C) how do they know which ones?
It's as if they know it's only the days "Bob" was covering extra shifts for "Jose" over 5 years, and "Bob" did it wrong.
Ya.
Measuring ONE gallon is not very accurate. How do you know you got exactly one gallon? Also, some evaporates by the time you put it on the scale. And how good is your scale? And how do you know?
My factory tires WERE NOT worn out at 45,000 miles. But I changed them out when I saw a good price on new ones. And I tow. A lot. Like 3 days per month towing 3200 pounds or more. And I routinely have 1000 pounds in the bed.
Others in snow territory; and others who live off dirt roads also...
This does not sound hybrid oriented.
The hybrid does not have an automatic transmission. But the EB does.
The hybrid does does not have accessory drive belts. But the EB does.

You have a loaner, right?
My dealership had no loaners so paid for me to get a compact car from Avis.
(I think it was Avis) No truck for 25 days. But I had a compact car to get to work in for 25 days. Parts were made of unobtanium.
And this is why American automakers are on the brink of...
True but meaningless.
I use nothing but 10% ethanol.
(or so the pumps say)
I routinely get 54 MPG and up to 800 miles on a tankful of it. True but also meaningless to someone else.
There are no laws for Top Tier stickers and there are no Top Tier police.
A Valero station closed. And a Mom & Pop bought it. All the TT stickers and signs stayed up. But price per gallon went down 59 cents overnight.

During the "draw down" period, when the battery is between 92% and 100% I have seen the DC/DC shut off completely. At least that's how I interpret it.
Negative 22A to 25A coming out of the 12v and voltage pulled down by the load to 12.1, 12.0, 11.9 volts.
ON A BRAND NEW BATTERY.
(Lights on...
Driving more does help.
But only if it is at night (full lamps on) or you attach trailer wiring! (Or run the fan at 6 or 7 which is too fast for my taste most of the time.)
But it's easy to switch on the lamps.
And the truck will beep at you if you shut off the truck and leave them on.
Why would you?
(See any difference)
The "operation" would stay the same with no oil at all, up until the point it grenades.... probably thousands of miles later.
🤷🏻♂️
Sure.
But it's super inconvenient and generally unpleasant to go to a dealership. Some of us work 40-50-60 hour weeks and very few dealerships are open weekend anymore.
The headlamps / parking lamps on is a great temporary fix.
I'll get to a dealer when I NEED to.
I don't need it right now.
Flated:
I have left it on full time for a couple of months now. Towing and not towing.
Up to 80 MPH.
Zero impact on MPG.
Like it is invisible to aero.
And only about 35 pounds.
Mine, and presumably everyone's trucks will charge the 12v battery to 100% if you just have the discipline to run your headlamps or parking lamps all the time. If you want to be lazy, you can use Forscan to program the truck to do this for you.
Call it a work-around that works.
If your voltage...
