I have a EB, have had this issue on and off , recently had the message again performed a battery reset twice, issue has disappeared without charging the battery Issue seems to be in the BMS .
My Ecoboost 2.0 does the same thing . I do short trips to work, not enough time to charge the battery plus running a dash cam which stays on for a period of time all contribute to start stop not working. Charging the battery works for a few days but then the state of charge drops and the start...
Most of the trim restorers run off and streak after a rainfall, I use the Cerakote wipes as well , no runoff or steaking after rain or washing truck ,excellent product.
Mine is ceramic coated , wash and dry once or twice a month ,ceramic detail spray in between hardly any dirt or grime sticks to the surface . CG excellent color.
Probably my last new vehicle , had the Mav for almost a year and a half no issues , I will keep up on the maintenance and Krown rust check it yearly. I'm 61, getting to old to be making truck payments all the time.
The black trim on the Maverick seems to be weathered and faded, rough winter here in NL . I used Cerakote ceramic trim restorer results are excellent , have a few pics. I also used the rapid ceramic paint sealant excellent product as well.
Yes, they are screwed on on the inside of the box, plastic retainer clips on the outside, this is where they don't fit flush when the clips won't hold.
Had the Mav at Krown for its 6 mouth rust prevention coating , they remove the tail lights, when i got it back the left side tail light wasn't fitting properly, had some new hold in clips on hand and now it's fine again, seems the clips are one time use hopefully Ford will design something...
Just a update on the frozen fuel door , sprayed some isopropyl alcohol on the mech. have had no issues since, even with the minus 30C windchill we had here last week.
Well this morning wet to gas fuel door would not pop open, was cold here last night tried just about everything ,managed to pop off the painted cover with pry tool . Finally got it open and lubed the mech put the cover back on working normally now . Has anyone had a issue like this?
The hood struts are expensive, probably more so here in Canada, for something you only use once in awhile. The tailgate assist takes away the oem tiedown, not really interested in either but it`s a matter of choice.
