I have a 22 eco XLT this truck has exceeded all expectations, only recall was the side curtain air bags which i had done at AVALON FORD where i bought the vehicle, no issues with damaged interior panels.
I reset the BMS every now and then , trickle charge with the NOCO5 no issues . BMS seems to be the issue. I don't have any issues with the ford pass app, programed to start at 6:30 am on weekdays works every time.
There's a gap in the bed rail plastic ,fill that in with some silicone or foam tape, should help with the water intrusion. Like another member said it won"t stop all the water from getting in.
Seems to be a lot of quality control issues, my Mav is a 22 Ecoboost the only the issue i've had is the side curtain airbag recall. They should have the kinks worked out on later builds.
Flash the high beams 5 times and press brake 3 times within 10 seconds, this will reset the BMS., the light in the cluster will flash when completed. Ignition needs to be in the run position.
Had the dash rattle in the MAV as well, just recently had the side curtain airbag recall done and rattle has disappeared, they had all the upper panels off and dropped the headliner to do the recall . Hopefully this issue is resolved!
Mine was done last week, around six months waiting for the parts to arrive. No issues with the interior, took about a day and a half to complete even put me in a rental because it took over a day to complete.
Just a update on the airbag recall, everything went smoothly a little longer than expected took a day and a half , put me in a rental overnight . Excellent service from Avalon Ford here in NL Canada.
Finally got the call from my dealer to get the airbag recall done, confident that the dealership will do a good job .I have had excellent service over the years from Avalon Ford here in NL. I will update when it's completed.
