  1. 📜 Updated Commodity Constraints List as of 1/23/23

I would say the one solid thing about the hybrid is that Ecvt transmission you seem to imply is trouble. Its basically an almost exact copy of the one used in the Prius built by Aisin . The 2.0 turbo ecoboost seems to be more of a problem engine with carbon build up on intake valves.
  2. 📜 Updated Commodity Constraints List as of 1/23/23

This whole allocation thing is nuts and screws the customer as how are they supposed to know which dealer has allocations. It encourages people to go out to say 3 dealers and place orders at all three dealers even though you only want ONE. If I don't get my 2023 order I will do exactly that at...
  3. 📜 Updated Commodity Constraints List as of 1/23/23

Ford can get away with this NOW as there is zero competition unless you count the Santa Cruz I don't. No hybrid small truck only ford.
  4. 📜 Updated Commodity Constraints List as of 1/23/23

I think the Maverick was a hit for a few reasons BUT the big one for me is the low price. When I first heard about the Maverick I heard it was 30 K. I just ignored it as 30 K was out of my price range. Then I saw a post on face book about a 22K start price. I was like WHAT. Then I looked into...
  5. When will 2024 MY order banks open?

Would they start making the 2024 BEFORE the order banks for those truck are opened? That doesn't seem logical BUT hey its Ford.
  6. When will 2024 MY order banks open?

Well if you can place an order at a dealer with no deposit or refundable deposit there really isn't any risk for the buyer. Say he does and by the time he gets his order at the dealer its not profitable to resell he just refuses the vehicle and gets his deposit back. I do see that happening.
  7. When will 2024 MY order banks open?

So when will the order banks open for 2024 orders? September 2023 ? Will everyone with a non filled 2023 order then order a 2024? I guess I will? Do you order from same dealer you have a 2023 order from? Or will some order a 2024 hybrid just to see if the dealer will offer to buy it from you to...
  8. 3rd production shift being added for Maverick assembly at Hermosillo plant in July!

That is a HUGE assumption,. Maybe on the base xl BUT on a 30 K Lariat I highly doubt it
  9. 3rd production shift being added for Maverick assembly at Hermosillo plant in July!

Because it has many thousands of hybrids SOLD already. So why put effort into building the ones that are not sold yet to go sit on dealer lots.
  10. 3rd production shift being added for Maverick assembly at Hermosillo plant in July!

The question is what is in short supply for the hybrid? The battery or the HF 35 or is it HF 45 hybrid transaxle ? That are built in MI at Van Dyke plant. I still say its better to drop ONE F 150 lightening 98 KW battery to build 89 hybrid Mavericks 1.1 kw battery for the most profit. Since...
  11. Any non-carryover Hybrids being scheduled ?

I another thread I was in a guy told me he is getting is hybrid in I think he said in a week so more than scheduled but built and delivered it was Ordered on Sept 16th 2022 same day as me . No luck for me yet. So yes there are some .
  12. Just gave the dealer a call......

You give me some hope as I too ordered on the 16th same day as you. XLT hybrid 3 options slide rear window full size spare and hitch BUT dropped the hitch after heard about cinstraints on hitch.
  13. Just gave the dealer a call......

Hey at least you will get your Ecoboost Mav order. Us hybrid order people are way more screwed than you are. But I would be you will have yours by early summer at the latest. Me being hybrid order will be lucky to get one at all.
  14. Which line to tap for catch can install on the Hybrid engine?

My understanding catch cans are for Direct Injection engines. NOT port injected. The difference being port injection injects fuel into the port before the intake valve so it cleans the oil from the PCV system off the valve. Where Direct Injection the fuel is injected into the combustion chamber...
  15. Kept for heat exchanger?

I wonder what is failing on the heat exchanger. Is the coolant used in that heat exchanger also connected to the gas engine coolant? Or is it separate system?
  16. 🗓️ Maverick Scheduling on 1/19/23 — For Month of March (+ Current Constraints List)

U-haul; hitch to me seems to be the best option. 250 bucks, install yourself. Yes the wiring makes it more complicated. I dropped my hitch BUT I don't need the 4 pin plug as I just want the hitch for a ladder extension .
  17. Maverick Ecoboost or Santa Cruz ? (If we don't get our Maverick Hybrid)

One comment SC city 22 mpg highway 26 one less if AWD, YET you CLAIM city (27) better than rated highway YEA right. Sounds like your not correcting misinformation on SC but creating it. Yea yea now saying i am the bad guy by pointing that out.
  18. Hard Tonneau Cover ebay $450 very nice quality

The downside of all the lower cost Hard folds is that the last panel wont fold up against the back window really reducing the amount of space unless you remove the entire cover. The lowest cost one that does fold up against the rear window was this one. BUT its price was lower on sale a few...
  19. Maverick Ecoboost or Santa Cruz ? (If we don't get our Maverick Hybrid)

Can I get a SC like a XLT Hybrid 3 options, slide rear window, full size spare and hitch on XLT for 26320. No i can not. Yes SC is fancier but MPG sucks big time and ugly. Can you even find a SC in base form NO. No idea if you can order a base SC. Lowest cost SC I can find within 1000 mile...
  20. Maverick Ecoboost or Santa Cruz ? (If we don't get our Maverick Hybrid)

I am not saying it a much fancier vehicle it is no doubt. BUT you pay for it. There is no lower cost option plus it gas mileage sucks compare to hybrid even the eco. Plus I think its ugly as all heck. Bed is smaller too. I saw one at local store in parking lot. They had the bed open.
